Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
These terms cover your use of Where.Tennis, including court search, game rooms, contributions and paid plans. By creating an account, subscribing or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect and why.
Your account
Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password and passkeys to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has used it, email support@where.tennis.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in US dollars through Stripe, which processes every payment, so your card details never reach our servers. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it’s calculated at checkout. You manage your plan, card and invoices from Manage Billing on your Subscription page.
- Renewal
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly billing period until you cancel. The card on file is charged at each renewal.
- Upgrades
- Upgrades take effect right away. You're charged the difference for the rest of your current billing period.
- Downgrades
- Downgrades don't issue a refund. The unused part of your current plan becomes account credit, applied automatically to your future payments.
- Cancellation
- You can cancel anytime from Manage Billing on your Subscription page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and the rest of that period isn't refunded. Any account credit stays on your account for when you come back.
- Refunds
- New subscribers get a 7-day money-back guarantee: contact us within 7 days of your first purchase for a full refund. Plan changes and renewals aren't refunded; the unused time from a downgrade becomes account credit instead.
- Account credit
- Account credit is applied automatically to your next payments until it's used up, and your Subscription page shows what's left. It stays on your account if you cancel and isn't paid out as cash.
If we change the price of your plan, we’ll email you before it applies. The new price starts at your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
Court information
Court details come from public sources and from players like you. We work to keep them accurate, but we can’t promise that a court exists, is open, is free to use or matches its listing. Drive times are estimates. Check with the venue before you travel.
What you contribute
When you submit a court, photo, edit or report, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it’s accurate as far as you know. You let us use, edit, display and share it as part of the service, and that permission continues if you stop using Where.Tennis. We review contributions and may decline or remove any of them.
Games and other players
Game rooms help players agree on where to meet. The arrangements you make are between you and the other players; we aren’t a party to them and aren’t responsible for anyone’s conduct. Racquet sports carry a risk of injury, and you play at your own risk.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to break the law, harass anyone or send unwanted invites. Don’t scrape or bulk-download court data, work around plan or rate limits, or interfere with how the service runs. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.
Changes to these terms
We’ll post changes here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we’ll email you before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
